Why Would An Msexcel Workbookopen 3 Times At Once?
There are no visible macros, or formulas in the workbook. When double clicked to open from the desktop, it automatically opens 3 versions of the same workbook.
It opens as:
industrial safety and fall protection Audit Summary.xls:1
industrial safety and fall protection Audit Summary.xls:2
industrial safety and fall protection Audit Summary.xls:3
All seperate from eachother, i.e. you can close 2 and still have one open.
If you know please tell me how to stop it.
Thanks in advance.
I would suggest checking your mouse settings to see how quickly the response time is set for clicking. Excel is pretty sensitive and, if you are sure you do not have Parkinson’s’ disease, then the mouse must be doing extra work when you click just once (e.g., giving 3 clicks when you hit it once).
Make sense? You should be able to find the mouse settings under Start>Control Panel>Mouse
i didn’t understand you very well…
i think that you open isn’t word shortcut, it is some document on your desktop
to make sure, open in start menu shortcut
if opens again these 3 doc’s, then try to uninstall and install again office packet
